We construct an individualized approach, tailored to each client, to achieve personal goals and growth.
Confidentiality and Informed Consent
Confidentiality is the most important bond between a client and therapist. Information shared in therapy will not be discussed outside of the office. You will be provided a written copy of the Informed Consent agreement. If you want information shared with someone on your healthcare team (psychiatrist, primary physician), signed, written permission must be given.
Due to State Law, there may be situations where confidentiality must be broken:
* If there is suspected past or present abuse or neglect of children, dependent adults, or elders, based on information provided by the client.
* If there is reason to suspect the client is in danger of harming themselves or has threatened to harm another person.
If you are in crisis and need help, or if you are worried about someone else committing suicide, call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at (800) 273-8255. Or text ‘MT’ to the number 741-741 and a Crisis Counselor will respond immediately to provide assistance.
